1. How does the structural insulated panel design and fabrication process work?The process of designing and fabricating structural insulated panels (SIPs) begins with the construction documents. These documents are then converted into SIP shop drawings, which provide the dimensions for each panel. Once the shop drawings are finalized, the SIPs are manufactured and delivered to the construction site for installation.2. How strong are structural insulated panels? Why SIPs are so strong to bear heavy load?Structural insulated panels (SIPs) are incredibly strong and capable of bearing heavy loads. The design of SIPs is similar to that of a steel I-beam, with OSB skins acting as the flanges and the rigid foam core serving as the web. This design allows SIPs to handle in-plane compressive loads effectively, making them strong and durable for various applications.3. Does the house come with interior and exterior finished?Can I have a complete house with everything ready?While structural insulated panel (SIP) houses come with the complete structure and shell, additional interior and exterior finishes may not be included. However, efforts will be made to provide as many accessories and decoration materials as possible to save costs and time. The availability and pricing of these materials will depend on specific requirements and can be determined after agreeing on the structure and shell.4. Do you have CE for your product?As for CE certification, we have consulted with In tertek, a professional laboratory. They have confirmed that our products, being the structural components of the house and not final consumer products, are not directly related to safety issues. We have successfully exported many houses to various European countries without any issues related to CE certification.5. What's the life time of your house?The design life of our SIPs houses is 70 years. Like any light structural building system, the lifespan of the house can be extended with better maintenance and care.6. ls your SIPs house termite proof?Our SIPs houses can be made termite-proof by using fiber cement board facings. Additionally, we use steel connectors in these houses, and termites cannot eat steel or fiber cement. Therefore, by eliminating wood from the construction, we effectively address the issue of termite infestation.
